Judging by the Arching Shot video, I guess we can carry the Destroyer/Tormented Weapons we dedicate in GW1 over to GW2. Nice info on the trait system.
Thanks for the heads up. *goes and dedicates some more weapons*

Guildwars2.com - New Triple Class, Warrior?
Guildwars2.com - New Triple Class, Warrior?
http://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-gam...sions/warrior/
New Warrior Class had been announce but has been up on the Guildwars2 website since last night. Saw no other threads about this so I wanted to discuss.
Warrior seems very impressive but what impressed most of all is that Warrior is now jack of all trades and master of all. Unlike Guildwars 1, the Warrior seems to be Master or ALL that is weapon based. They seem to have effectively merged together: the traditional Warrior, the archery skills of the Ranger and the speed and deadliness of the Assassin, which to me makes sense since the Warrior is supposed to be trained in all martial and ranged weapons.
The only thing to me right now, unless the ennemies are meant to be one hit kills, seems super overpowered. But then again, they wanted to put WOW value into the videos.
I like the fact that there will be skills you need to hold down to powerup and then release at different stages to get different effects.
I also think that the physics in Guildwars2 will be off the hook, the particle deflection from the Shield Stance with the drake's fire just being held back was impressive.
The Stop skill however seemed a little "Cartoony" the Charr seemed to leap in the air and then float down into ennemies and knock him down. I know its still early stages but something along the lines of, powering up with 1 foot still on the ground, then stepping forward in a powerful motion while yelling and stomping on the ground, creating a shockwave or crater would have been another option.
What do all of you think of the Warrior?

I utterly totally hate all those battle yells.
I hope they can be disabled.

Hmmm, I wonder if the blood will somehow disappear between now and the retail launch... just like it did in GW1.
Stance work like maintained enchantments, eating into your energy regen? Shouts are now spells? Mesmers will like that, if they survived the transition to GW2... it all looks pretty interesting.

Female charr have more fluffy, or rather feathery tails.

It has been confirmed they can indeed be disabled. They are present in the videos to give a more lively taste of flavor, and present GW2's sound.

Well, who knows, maybe in those videos the warrior is high lvl and the foes low lvl, to give an overpowered effect
